First Homeowner Congratulated at First Argyll Homes Development in Scotland
6th November 2007

The first person to move into the first Argyll Homes development in Scotland was presented with her keys on Friday - by the Chairman of Tulloch Homes Group, David Sutherland.

Lochardil Wood in Inverness was launched earlier this year as the first Argyll Homes development in Scotland. Created by the Tulloch Homes Group, the brand is now expected to be rolled out at more new developments across the country as Inverness-based Tulloch continues to expand.

Christine Peters, an art teacher at Alness Academy, is the first to move in at Lochardil Wood, a development of semi-detached bungalows and villas in the popular Culduthel area of Inverness. She is now the proud owner of a Glendaruel style three bedroom bungalow. Mrs Peters was also presented with a bouquet of flowers, a luxury hamper and a holiday voucher for a break in Argyll from Mr Sutherland’s wife Anne, whose family links to the area and Glendaruel in particular was the inspiration behind the name of the new brand.

“I was delighted to receive the hamper and flowers,” said Christine, “and the break at Mr & Mrs Sutherland’s cottages in Argyll was a lovely surprise. I’m really pleased with the bungalow. It’s a beautiful home, with very nice light and atmosphere, and a good outlook. I also liked the courtyard setting, and the size of the development. Plus, as an art teacher the plain walls are ideal for my collection of paintings so I won’t be rushing into any big decorating decisions quite yet.”

Tulloch Homes Director Lynne Boyd added: “Lochardil Wood is a lovely new development under the Argyll Homes banner, offering a range of two and three bedroom homes. We are delighted to now have our first buyers moving in, and look forward to welcoming many more in the coming months.”

Prices at Lochardil Wood are from £170,000 for a two bedroom semi-detached bungalow. The Lochardil Wood Sales Office is open Thursday to Monday 11am to 5.30pm and Sales Negotiator Leslie Allan can be contacted on telephone 01463 718318. Alternatively call Tulloch Homes on 01463 229300.
